Actually, it’s cold and gray, but that’s great pregnancy weather, if you ask me.
Kicked BUTT yesterday on my To-Do List. Woo hoo! That’s beauty.
This must be another hormone surge, nature’s way of promoting effective nesting in the final weeks before delivery (I’m 37 weeks now).
And on fun and beauty…
How Scott Sees My Pregnancy
(I’ll be paraphrasing here; he may add his own comments below. Who knows?)
1. Okay, for one, first off, and it goes without saying, he thinks I look beautiful (and I have to agree with him).
2. Every time I mention how big I am, and wave (well, swing) my gi-nor-mous belly at him, his eyes go wide, and he smiles, and agrees with me in a voice that one might use when facing a national monument or wonder-of-the-world for the first time; not over-awed, because you knew it existed, but still, it’s a little more awesome than you could have expected.
3. “It used to look like something that was a part of you. Now it looks like there’s two of you. Like you have a pod attached.”
“Yes, kind of like my own airstream trailer.”
“Yes.”
4. This morning, when I parade-floated into the kitchen in my big white fluffy bathrobe with the belt tied in a bow under my boobs, Scott just dissolved in loving giggles and hugged me.
Yep, that’s me. And it doesn’t make me less of a man.
Now excuse me, I need to go buy a motorcycle and get into a bar fight.
Wow – this morning I looked out into my back garden at the mist and said “Oh what a beautiful morning!”
Psychic email at work? Great minds think alike? We just love that Bay Area fog?
You and I are in tune, that’s for sure.
Wow! 37 weeks, baby is almost here! (As if you didn’t know that ;)!)
You have a wonderful and I mean wonder-full life.
Keep on rocking.
