I am really really boring lately. Spent all of yesterday doing more Internet shopping for baby, except for the time I took out of my glazed-eyed stupor to get an estimate on the damage to my car. $1500. That was some big butt.
Today I did my morning Pilates session, bought some groceries (mmmm… buffalo mozzarella, lavender honey) and then spent all day in a glazed-eyed-yet-productive slouch in front of computer, reconciling my accounts for all of 2007. (What, me? Procrastinate?) Found an invoice I never sent, back in June. Free money (sort of) — woo hoo!
See? Boring.
Well I rode the bus with the children to the barber shop – we transferred at Macarthur and Broadway. They thought this was thrilling.
And our Large Object Pickup Day finally arrived this morning, (delayed six weeks by labor troubles at the garbage company), and they took so much junk! We feel ten pounds lighter. Hubby is on a new kick of getting the kids to pick up at night, and keeping the house tidier. We talk about cleaning out closets, and organizing junk drawers, and donating old toys.
Also we are going to have new windows put in! The guy came today and wrote up an estimate.
You know, we’re all damned lucky to have such mundane cares.
