Aw bless, it won't be long until that first bike ride where he's in control himself. I remember it well, my first ride without stablizers. Bike riding with a toddler with ANY traffic totally scares me. Trailer or bike seat. Helmet or not.

Then again when I was wee, my dad took me on the back of his 10 speed through suburban Toronto, no helmets, no cars with anti-lock bikes, no nothing. Thank god our kids have better odds than that!
