Ha,ha, ha, ha!! Be sure to reference your mom when strangers give you a look, or just laugh.;) My oldest heard my husband yell b*stard out once when he was almost two, and for the next year, everything was "you b*stard" whenever he got angry, which was frequently and often in public. They only have to hear it once. When we knew he was old enough to understand, time-out was used with mixed results. The clever boy just replaced the phrase with "you binky". I have to admit, I think it’s pretty hilarious. The trick now is to try not to laugh when he does it because we don’t want to encourage him.

Then again, at this stage I’m really only worrying about what people will think of me. He’s so young and cute, he makes it work for him.
