You are a champ for giving up wheat and dairy. Made a delish chicken soup with rice tonight. I wish I remember what kind of chicken I bought. I know it was one of those free range, organic ones but it was unusually better than previous fowls. Felt good about no wheat, no dairy meal but then had some low fat rice pudding for dessert. Boooooooooo! Bloat abounds.

I gave up dairy and gluten last summer when I was fighting recurrent sinus infections, low adrenals, low blood pressure, et al.

I have never gone back to wheat but have added back in some gluten and non-cow's dairy and been okay. The main thing for me is if I have too much gluten or dairy, I get instant congestion so I mostly just avoid it all.

I'm glad you're feeling good about these decisions and that Jonah seems to be reaping the benefits with better skin. Please keep resisting the urge to feel bad! You know that saying, When you know better, you do better. You can't have done something if you didn't know it then.

Blessings,
Stacy

Mmmmmm! This sounds delicious because I DO LOVE Spicy foods. I will have to try it in the near future.

Your stronger than I am when it comes to giving up food. I couldn't eliminate wheat and dairy. I love Cheeese, and breads make up a huge part of my diet, so I am glad that my baby's reflux resolved itself. No low carb diets for me than you! In my book, your an awesome mom for giving these foods up, because it takes so much will power to refrain from eating foods we love.

I cut wheat out of my diet about a year ago and I feel so much better plus it halved the size of my stomach in a matter of weeks.

I don't miss bread at all anymore. I do miss beer a bit and I do occasionally have one - but my stomach bloats immediately if I do. But it's still worth it sometimes!!

Good that things are going well with the sleeping and that his skin is so much better.

I will do that meme tomorrow. It looks like fun and I do want to do it. I'll let you know when I have done it. I've just had loads of work to get through!
